TRIP OF WONDERS 2016

Trip Of Wonders 2016

Starting my first blog post for the year with one of my memorable trips last year!

Trice and I were invited to join the batch 3 of #TripofWonders Indonesia for seven days, last October 21-27, 2016. We really wanted to visit Indonesia, especially Bali, because we’ve seen awesome posts from our friends who already went there.

I was glad that we were both on this trip because it was also Trice’s birthday and I wanted to be with her on her special day – yes, I’m that clingy. But seriously, I just wanted to share such experience with Trice because it was our first time to go to Indonesia.

Our flight was booked at Malaysia Airlines from Manila to Jakarta. We had a two hour layover at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, which was not enough to check out Kuala Lumpur, so we decided to just stay at the airport.

After we arrived at Soekarno Hatta International Airport in Jakarta, we were welcomed by one of the Wonderful Indonesia teams and transported to Swiss BelHotel, which was only 10 minutes away from the airport.

We were greeted by the Wonderful Indonesia team: Leya, Kama and Vesta.

I was surprised when team Brunei gave this bucket of Jollibee Chicken Joy to Leya. So proud to see people from other countries who love Jollibee.

Since it was already late afternoon, we were given two hours to prepare for the welcome dinner so we headed to our room.

We got a very nice and spacious room. Too bad we only stayed here for a night.

On our welcome dinner, they served authentic Indonesian food, which was kind of similar to Filipino food.

I already missed their sambal!

Trip Of Wonders 2016 Batch 3

During the program, we were asked to seat next to other bloggers from other SEA countries to get to know each of them even more. Everyone was so friendly and approachable.

Since the next day’s call time was really early, we headed back to our rooms after the program. Too bad we didn’t get to bond after but we still had six days to enjoy each other’s company.

Will be posting day 1 of our trip soon so stay tuned!
